A Coordinated Fake Campaign Targeting Tesla

Cyabra uncovered an orchestrated campaign aimed at manipulating Tesla’s stock.

Cyabra analyzed viral conversations on X between March 9–17, 2025, following a surge in posts targeting Tesla’s reputation and stock performance.

37% of the X accounts were identified as fake, responsible for amplifying negative hashtags and pushing coordinated narratives, with a potential reach of 6.78 million views.

Cyabra uncovered two dominant narratives—one of them controversially labeled Elon Musk and Tesla as “Nazis,” while the majority of fake profiles encouraged boycotting American products and buying directly from China.
