Calls to save TF2 emerged on X as users were increasingly frustrated by the game's involvement of bot players, which disrupts the experience for real players.

Cyabra detected that 16% of this discourse was generated by fake profiles who posted with the hashtags, #savetf2 and #fixtf2. Their posts had the potential to reach over 5 million views.
